Olympic Birthday
With her 7th birthday falling on the same day as the Opening Ceremonies, of course Bix had to have an Olympics-themed party.
Chocolate-coin medals for everyone
A little gold to take home
Olympic rings decor
All-American paper goods...U-S-A!
Easy decorating with the new Olympic pictograms
Flag banner
Simple snacks
Hockey puck ding-dong anyone?
When the kids arrived, the each decorated their own flag (and mom glued a dowel to them for later)
The red, white, and blue Gatorade was a big hit with all the little olympians
After all the games and cake, we had medal presentations and a Parade of Nations (led by the birthday girl)
Then, of course, we had a snowball (marshmallow) fight!
The best part about the whole thing? Wonderful friends...
We had a lovely dinner, but this photo says it all...exhausted.

And this guy...at the middle of it all:)
Bix said the party was "AWE-some!"
