Fi is getting more mobile every day.  Bix enjoys having her as a playmate and dance partner.  If you have seen The Happiest Millionaire...this one makes perfect sense.

Happy Birthday to Fi

Our girl turned one today!  We started out the day with a trip to the doctor for the one year exam.  Fi is now 31 in tall (95th percentile) and weighs in at 22 lbs (70th percentile)  She also was due for several shot, so she wasn't exactly the happiest with us. 

Bix spent the afternoon baking a cake, and she was quite proud.

We all sang Happy Birthday, and let Fi blow out her candle (sort of).

Fi gave the cake her seal of approval.

Daddy and Bix helped Fi open one of her presents.

Bix helpfully showed Fi how to play with her new toy.

We can't believe it has been a whole year, but what an amazing time we have had.

Welcome Archie!!!

We are celebrating the birth of Archbold (Archie) John Roy.  He came into the world on Thursday September 30th at 4:35 am. He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20.5 inches long.
As you can see, he is adorable, and my fabulous sister looks (and feels) pretty great too.

Darth Vader

Luke...I am your father.

Notice Return of the Jedi playing in the background?  We aren't exactly sure why our three-year-old daughter likes Darth Vader.  Maybe it is because he has a cool costume, and great theme music.  Bix says under the mask he is Anakin.  She says he isn't bad because he is Luke's dad, and he ends up good at the end with Yoda and Obi-Wan.

Bix, on the other hand, knows exactly where she's going.
