Poppo's Boat

Yes, I know it has been a long time, and yes, I have lots of new pictures to share.  We were up at the lake for a week and since then we have been displaced from most of our house due to the kitchen remodel.  Thanks for being patient.  Here we go...

Poppo got a brand new boat about a month ago and we were all ready to try it out.  Fi took her first ride on a boat. (She wasn't so sure about it all at first)

Bix felt right at home and was raring to go.

Fi warmed up to it real quick.

Bix was commanding the boat like an old pro.

We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets.

There were plenty of laughs

and giggles.

Fi eventually found her "sea-legs".

But there came the time when even these two had enough.

The patient is quite the wiggle-worm.

Happy Birthday Auntie B

The girls both paid tribute to their special aunt on her special day.  Bix dressed in her finest clothes (even put on some heels), and had a party with her best friend.

Fi got in a little extra workout.

Celebration Weekend

We hit the road for a trip to Austin this weekend.  Grandma, Poppo, Mommy, Daddy, Bix and Fi all cozy in the Suburban.

There were so many things to celebrate!  Auntie B's big 4-0.

Mothers' Day!  We even got to see CiCi.  Too short but still...so great.

The weekend went so fast.  We were all tired out.

Can't wait to do it all again real soon.

Ice Cream

One of the girls' three (I mean how blessed are they?!) great-grandmothers sent these cute tops.  I have to give Too-Too credit for the awesome play-on-words with her name on Fi's onesie.  Can you read it?  It says "I'm TUTU cute."  Love it!

And for those of you concerned with Bix' head injury...there was nothing visibly wrong with her but she insisted she had been injured by Henry at school and the only thing that could make it better was Dora.
