There were no fireworks this year in HSV, but the girls were almost as excited about poppers! (with Grandma's help)
On America's birthday, it is of the utmost importance to have a cake.
Bix insisted they wear their goggles for safety. "To keep batter from splashing in our eyes."
They were very serious with the frosting.
So proud of their cake.
USA! USA!
Happy Birthday dear America.
Even though there was no fireworks over the lake, we still took a sunset cruise, and celebrated our great country.
Forever in peace may you wave...
The girls did provide us a bit of a show.
Topped off our boat ride with this lighting spectacular.
One final show before calling it a day. Fi's interpretive dance entitled "fireworks"
We love the USA. Thank you Lord for blessing us and this great nation!
